“Joan has been a fabulous addition to my life on so many levels. My weight was gained during a particularly stressful period in my life as my husband was very sick and needed constant attention. Once it was on, the weight just wasn’t coming off no matter how much exercise I was doing plus as Joan pointed out I was still stress eating.
To date, I have lost almost 20 pounds of this weight. Joan helped me balance my diet which wasn’t easy as I have many dietary restrictions. She also helped me through her weekly and biweekly coaching to look at the causes and deal with the stress in a more appropriate way. Her visualization exercises helped even though I must say at first, I was quite skeptical of them.
Overall Joan has become a true asset in my life and taught me how to enjoy eating just in a different way.
