Well, at least I used to.

At one point in time, many of the above were very, very true for me. I’ve been there.

And it Totally Sucked….

I was fat, overweight, bloated and moody…. My skin made me look 10 years older than I was. I tried all the diets. I really did…. …. I ate “health” foods and worked out the time. I went gluten free and wheat free and even became a vegetarian for a while. I did juicing, I took diet pills and lived on protein shakes… ……my hormones were out of control and I felt so ashamed and embarrassed by how I looked. I felt that people didn’t like or respect me because I was overweight and couldn’t control my sugar and wine intake.

I’ll never forget the day I finally decided things had to change.

My doctor diagnosed me with an ovarian tumor, usually deadly within 5 years. My doctor ended up taking my whole reproduction system away, something that saddens me to this day as I do not have children.

Since my doctor and the medical community had no reason for the cause of this, I prayed to God for divine guidance. When I found out that the tumor was not cancerous, I declared to God that I would find out what the issues were with my body and I would spend the rest of my life educating and helping people get well. You see, if you are overweight and sick, 90% of it is caused by what we eat… especially “healthy” foods…

I studied over 100 diet theories and I found that the ingredients in the Standard American Diet are causing weight and health issues and we do not even know it.

What every diet theory I learned about came right back to the scientific fact that our bodies are these amazing and perfectly made “chemistry labs”.

What does that mean?

It means that when we eat and drink foods, everyone’s body chemistry is different. Some people can tolerate gluten or sugar or different types of carbs and then others cannot. So, I cracked the code on how to quickly figure this out so you will 100% know what your unique body chemistry needs to be healthy and to be free of diseases.

I wasn’t just going to do this for me. I was going to do this for all of us.

After I said that prayer, I was first led to clean up my mindset and energetics.


But, I didn’t stop there.

To teach this, and teach this well,
I had to take it much deeper.

Not only did I change the role food and nutrition played in my life and create new belief systems around diets and healthy living, I began to understand the purpose of food. I taught myself a process for shifting into an energetic state of living a healthy and happy lifestyle and to once and for all and co-create my dreams!!!!


The way in which I respond to, food, exercise and nutrition continues to evolve.

I am over 50 years old and look and feel like I am in my mid-thirties… my body composition and health are that of a 35-year-old and continues to improve.

Before I knew it, I was 250 lbs. For the past 30 + years, I have gained and lost hundreds of pounds. I know ALL the diets out there and unfortunately; I lose weight but then I gain it back plus more. My life has been hell.

I grew up poor, or as they said back then, at poverty level…my parents were full blown alcoholics and there was always so much drama and fighting and dysfunction.

We grew up on biscuits and gravy and rice soaked with soy sauce packets my dad used to bring home. I was fat in grade school and everyone made fun of me. By the time I was in junior high school, I discovered diet pills t try to manage my weight. I spent decades gaining and losing weight. I worked out almost every day and even taught aerobics. I did weight watchers, paleo, vegan lo or no carb, starvation, the Ocean Diet, the Atkins and everyone that came out….

When my husband I started working with Joan of Health, we had  digestive and gut issues.
